The St. Louis Cardinals got a quality start from Matthew Liberatore on their way to a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, April 25.

The Cardinals got on the board first after Nolan Gorman dove home Brendan Donovan with a sacrifice fly. St. Louis would add to their lead with RBI hits from Lars Nootbar and Donovan.

Liberatore went six strong innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits. Ryan Helsley picked up his fourth save of the season.

The Cardinals improve to 11-15, still sitting at fourth in the NL Central. The Cardinals will go for the series win over Milwaukee on Saturday. First pitch from Busch Stadium is at 1:15 p.m.
