The Kansas City Royals got back to .500 with a 2-0 shutout victory over the Houston Astros on Saturday, April 26.

The Royals got a gem from Michael Wacha, who went six scoreless innings, only allowing four hits and two walks.

The Royals lineup had some trouble against Houston starter Framber Valdez, who only gave up two runs over eight innings of work. He gave up a sacrifice fly to Mark Canha and a solo homer from Vinnie Pasquantino.

The Kansas City offense only had three hits, one of them belonging to Bobby Witt Jr. as he extended his hitting streak to 18 games. Wacha earned his first win of the season, and Carlos Estévez picked up his seventh save.
