Lane closures are taking place on a Johnson County roadway this week.

Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing lane closures on Johnson County Route YY between Missouri Highway 13 and the Johnson County Route CC intersection from Monday, April 28, through Friday, May 16, for resurfacing work.

The work will take place each day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The closures will include the use of flagging operations and pilot cars to help motorists navigate the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
