The Marshall Ministerial Alliance is hosting a community National Day of Prayer event at 8 a.m. Thursday, May 1.

The National Day of Prayer is on the first Thursday of May each year. The event will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints branch building, located at 1000 Apache Drive in Marshall.

This will be a one-hour event and include prayers for various segments of life, including local and national education, communities, elected officials, military, arts entertainment, government, business, and more. A continental breakfast will be available as people gather for fellowship and prayer.

The Marshall Ministerial Alliance encourages the public to attend and be a part of this time and prayer.
