The game was scoreless until the seventh inning, where the Baltimore Orioles finally broke through against Michael Wacha thanks to a two-run home run from Ryan O’Hearn. Baltimore would add another run later in the inning, also charged to Wacha, to make is 3-0.
Bobby Witt Jr.’s hitting streak of 22 games came to end with an 0-for-4 performance. Wacha picked up his fourth loss of the season, allowing three runs in 6.1 innings, with three strikeouts.
