UPDATE: Arth has been located safely.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Lexington Police are looking for a Lexington man who left his home Wednesday, May 7, 2025 and hasn’t been back since.

The agencies have issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for 78-year-old George Arth, a white man who is 5’8″, weighs 190 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. According to police, Arth has been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s and because of his condition, is not suppose to drive alone. Officers say that Arth left his home on South Street in Lexington around 12:30 p.m. without his cell phone. He was last seen driving his maroon-colored Ford F-250 near the intersection of Route 7 and SW Moreland School Road in Blue Springs.

Anyone who has seen Arth or his vehicle is urged to contact Lexington Police at 660-584-2104 or your nearest law enforcement agency.
