The Kansas City Royals won their sixth straight game behind a 10-0 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Salvador Perez drove home Kansas City’s first two runs in the game with RBI hits in the first and third. Maikel Garcia added a two-run triple in the fifth to make it 4-0.

The Royals would add two more runs in the sixth, and four more in the eighth to put the game out of reach.

Kris Bubic picked up his fourth win of the season with seven scoreless frames. He allowed six hits and struck out seven batters.

The Royals improve to 23-16, currently two games back of Detroit in the AL Central. Kansas City will continue their home stand when they host Boston for a three-game series. Michael Lorenzen gets the start. Pregame coverage begins at 6, with first pitch at 6:40 p.m. on KMMO FM 102.9.
