Missouri Department of Transportation crews are continuing a number of repavement projects this week across several area counties.

Crews around the Syracuse area continue to repave both sections of Route PP in Cooper and Morgan counties, while flagging operations remain in place along Route BB between Otterville and Clifton City. Crews are also resurfacing Route E between Harrisburg and Columbia in Boone County.

Ditch work this week in Triplett will result in the closure of Route M through the village Tuesday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 14. While ditch work began Monday morning at the intersection with Route Z, the intersection will close Tuesday morning for replacement of a culvert. Additional work is planned after the culvert replacement wraps up Wednesday afternoon.

Elsewhere, lane restrictions are in place Monday and Wednesday along U.S. Route 24 through a part of Moberly, as crews will drill for core samples on either side of the intersection with Business Route 63. Also in Randolph County, bridge maintenance is underway this week on the Route 3 bridge over Silver Creek, northeast of Roanoke. And general roadside work is planned this week along Route 5 through Howard County, as well as Route O east of Fayette beginning Tuesday through Thursday.
