
State Fair Community College will hold its spring commencement at 6 p.m. Friday, May 16 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The ceremony will honor students who completed graduation requirements in the fall and spring semesters.
Kyle Weymuth, a 2006 SFCC graduate and native of Cole Camp, will serve as commencement speaker and receive the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award. Weymuth is the Dealer Principal and Owner of the W-K Family of Dealerships. He has continued the family’s legacy of excellence and community trust. In addition to his business role, Weymuth is active in civic life. He serves as treasurer of the SFCC Foundation Board and is a member of the Missouri Auto Dealers Association Executive Committee and the Sedalia Economic Development Board.
Spring 2025 Commencement Speaker, Kyle Weymuth
This semester, approximately 475 graduates will receive 555 degrees and/or certificates. Breakdown of degrees include 224 Associate of Arts degrees, 11 Associate of Fine Arts, 23 Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees, 162 Associate of Applied Science degrees, 6 Associate of Science degrees, 2 Associate of General Studies degrees, 91 Professional Certificates, and 36 Skills Certificates. These figures include students who attend SFCC in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.
SFCC’s Adult Education and Literacy program will celebrate individuals who passed the 2025 High School Equivalency exam with a ceremony at 10 a.m. May 17 in Stauffacher Theatre on the SFCC Sedalia campus.
