Duane Paul Driver, 84, of Concordia, MO, died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. all at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Lehenbauer will officiate. Duane was born on November 28, 1940, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Ervin and Arline (Tienken) Driver. He married Carolyn Ruth (Nierman) on October 28, 1961, and she preceded him in death on September 23, 2011. Duane was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Concordia Fire Department for many years, and the Emma Civic Club. He worked in the maintenance department at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, but he was a farmer at heart. His garden was a big part of his daily routine.

Survivors are his five children; Cindy Tolias (Mark), Gloria Driver, Roger Driver (Cindy), Jeanne Brown all of Concordia and Ryan Driver (Tiffany) of Pleasant Hill, MO; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Wood of Lone Jack, MO.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
