Marshall Police are investigating an early morning incident involving a mail dropbox outside the city’s offices.

According to police, an individual reported the dropbox was damaged early Wednesday, May 14 near the Marshall City Office, across the street from the post office. The box had been torn away from the concrete and damaged, with scratches along the pavement. The damaged box has since been removed by the post office. USPS officials had no comment on the situation, and Marshall Police say they are currently looking into possible leads.
