The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen took action to set pool admission prices and hours prior to the pool opening later this month.

The Pool Board recommended setting summer hours as 1-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1-6 p.m. on Sundays. The pool Board also voted to keep pool parties and admission prices the same as last year. The board approved admission prices for ages three and up at $4, senior citizens ages 55 and older at $3, and children age two at $2, with children one and under being free. The board also approved the pricing for pool passes at $55 for individuals and $160 for a family of four, with additional family members costing an extra $30 each.

The board then set the pricing for a two hour pool party at $125 for 50 guest or less, and $150 for more than 50 guests.

The planned opening date for the pool is after Memorial Day weekend.

The board also accepted the Letter of Engagement from Fiene CPA to conduct the city’s annual audit.
