A Leeton man suffered serious injury after his minibike collided with a pickup in the city.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the minibike and pickup both entered the intersection of Route EE at Lee Street around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14. Troopers say that the northbound minibike struck the pickup as it was heading east on the highway. The 37-year-old rider of the minibike was taken to a Warrensburg hospital, while the pickup’s 49-year-old driver had no reported injuries, and was able to drive the truck from the scene.
