The Carrollton R-7 School District is adding a new bus to their fleet, trading in the district’s oldest bus for a 2026 Bluebird.

Superintendent Tinna Croy says the board tries to purchase a new bus every year to keep the fleet in warranty. She says the district’s new bus will have plenty of features to make school trips easier.

Croy says the district is getting a sizable trade-in for the oldest bus in the fleet.

The bus will be available for the 2025-2026 school year. The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10.
