The City of Sedalia is closing a section of West 16th Street next week for a construction project.

Beginning Monday (May 19th), public works crews will close 16th Street from U.S. Route 65 east to South Beacon for milling. The road is expected to reopen by Friday, with repavement scheduled for a later date.

The city has also scheduled a closure for later this month along Pro Energy Boulevard. A culvert replacement is set for the week of May 25th along that roadway.

Both projects are subject to weather conditions, and could also be delayed by equipment breakdowns.
