Lane restrictions are in place for two bridges along Route 3 through southwestern Randolph County this week.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is performing maintenance to the bridges over Sweet Spring Creek and Silver Creek, both near Mount Airy. A lane restriction of 10 feet will be in place during the work, taking place between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Crews should wrap up their work on the Silver Creek bridge by Thursday, while work on the Sweet Spring Creek bridge is expected to continue after the Memorial Day holiday. Bridge maintenance is also scheduled this week for Route C in Chariton County at the Hickory Branch Bridge east of Mendon.
Other projects this week around the area include a culvert replacement for Route M in the Triplett area. The roadway will close Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day between Route Z and Killdeer Road.
