The Moberly City Council reviewed bids for the 2025 Street Improvement Project during its meeting Monday, May 19.

The council reviewed bids from four different contractors milling and overlay work. Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey notes the street work is part of a larger infrastructure project in the city.

The milling and overlay bid was awarded to Christensen Construction. The council also awarded a bid for micro sealing services to Vance Brothers.

In other news, the council approved the re-appointments of Don Burton, Rachael Grime, and Russ Kennison to the Park Board.
