Road crews will soon install a replacement crossing for the bridge along 200th Road outside Cretcher that was damaged in March and eventually removed.

Saline County Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner says a new culvert is set to arrive at the crossing west of Route EE this week.

Fenner provided the update at Wednesday’s commission session. Commissioners also announced that they had conducted a tour of several roads throughout the county Tuesday, May 20 to assess any damage caused by recent storms. The commission said they did not come across any significant areas of storm damage to Saline County’s roadways.
