
Ty France hit a walk-off homer in the ninth to help the Minnesota Twins defeat the Kansas City Royals 3-1 on Friday, May 23.
Both teams traded runs early, with the Royals striking first on an RBI double from Cavan Biggio in the first inning. Carlos Correa tied the game in the bottom of the second with a solo homer off Noah Cameron.
Cameron still pitched a gem for Kansas City, going 6.2 innings, allowing just one run on four hits with eight strikeouts.
The game remained tied until France belted a walk-off, two-run homer to win it for Minnesota. Lucas Erceg took the loss, surrendering both runs in the ninth.
