The St. Louis Cardinals took down the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Sunday, completing the sweep and picking up their 30th win of the season.

Arizona struck first, scoring two early runs off of Sonny Gray. Gray tossed another quality start, going six innings, allowing three runs on nine hits with five strikeouts.

The Cardinals got a run back in the bottom of the first with an RBI single from Ivan Herrera. Masyn Winn popped a solo homer in the third to tie the game 2-2.

After the Diamondbacks regained the lead in the sixth, Herrera drove in another run in the bottom of the inning with a sac-fly.

In the seventh, Victor Scott II came through with with an RBi single to put the Cardinals on top for the first time all game. Phil Maton came on in the ninth to secure the win and the sweep for St. Louis.

The Cardinals improve to 30-23 on the season, but remain two games behind the Cubs. The Cardinals are back on the road to take on the Baltimore Orioles. First pitch is at 2:05 p.m.
