
The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved appointments to ten boards and commissions during its most recent meeting.
Chief of Police Tom Long and EMS Director Doug Kenney were both appointed to the Board of Health for one-year terms. Long and Kenney were also appointed to the Board of Public Safety. Fire Chief Randy Amor and Building Official Sandra Stephens were appointed to the Board of Public Safety as well.
Ward 3 Aldermen Galen Tuley was selected as the BOA Representative for the Historic Preservation Commission. Steven Vetter, an Aldermen also from Ward 3, was appointed as the BOA Representative for the Arts Advisory Board for a three year term. Barbara Butler and Brandy Bennett were also appointed to that board.
