The public is invited to provide comments and suggestions about the operation of four area state historic sites at a public meeting Saturday afternoon in Arrow Rock.

Site superintendent Cindy Imhoff says the open house-style meeting will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday in the J Huston Tavern’s Tap Room.

Imhoff says the meeting is an opportunity for the public to visit with her staff and provide ideas for what programs the sites should host, or where improvements are needed.

Saturday’s public meeting in Arrow Rock will also cover the nearby Boone’s Lick, Sappington Cemetery, and Sappington African-American Cemetery state historic sites. Imhoff says public comments can also be made anytime through the Arrow Rock State Historic Site website.
