sfcc-certificate-apprentice

Austin Thompson, a maintenance technician at Inter-State Studio in Sedalia, has received a U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Certificate in Industrial Electrical Maintenance through State Fair Community College’s Apprenticeship Program.

Thompson joined Inter-State Studio two years ago as a maintenance technician apprentice. Since then, he has advanced to a full technician role, completing extensive on-the-job training and coursework through SFCC’s program.

SFCC offers apprenticeships in several high-demand areas, including Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Welding, Industrial Robotics Technician, Engineering Design, and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). These programs give students a pathway to earn while they learn through hands-on training and technical coursework.
