Resurfacing work is taking place on two routes in Randolph County.
The work began on May 27, starting with Route U, from Missouri Route 3 to the end of state maintenance. Crews with then continue to Route O, from Route C to the end of state maintenance. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction at the location where crews are actively working. Flaggers and a pilot car will be utilized for traffic control to guide traffic through the work zone. Workers will be present during daylight hours. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
The $7.8 million contract, awarded last year to Emery Sapp & Sons, of Columbia, includes several additional resurfacing projects in Audrain, Monroe, and Ralls Counties. The projects are scheduled to be completed by November 1, 2025.
