A Sedalia man was killed Thursday, May 29 after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at an intersection in the city.

Sedalia Police responded to the two-vehicle accident around 6:30 at the intersection of W. Broadway and State Fair Boulevard. Officers report that a 61-year-old man from Sedalia had turned his Dodge Challenger left from the eastbound lanes of Broadway onto the boulevard, when it collided with a motorcycle driven by a 19-year-old man, also from Sedalia. The motorcycle driver was ejected from his bike. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Dodge’s driver had no reported injuries. Sedalia police say their investigation of the crash continues.
