A Michigan woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident along Interstate-70 in Saline County on Friday, May 30.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred a vehicle driven by the 33-year-old woman from Saginaw, Michigan traveled off the rights side of the roadway and struck a bridge at 10 p.m. Friday. MSHP reported the accident at Mile Marker 84.4 along eastbound I-70.

The driver was found dead at the scene. It is unknown if the driver was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

This is the 27th fatal accident and 30th fatality MSHP Troop A has reported in 2025.
