The next phase of the project to replace the Route 5 bridge over Bear Creek in northern Glasgow will result in a pair of closures beginning Wednesday, June 4.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close access to Orchard Drive and Kuemmer Park Drive from Route 5 beginning Wednesday, so that construction crews can begin tying in the existing pavement to the new bridge approach. Access to Locust Street will close beginning Monday. Route 5 is currently limited to one lane through the work zone, with a width restriction of 11 feet, two inches.
