
The University of Missouri’s “Zou 2 You” bus tour of the state is set to wrap up Thursday, June 5 with a stop in Sedalia.
The bus tour featuring several Mizzou Tiger coaches, athletes and other personalities has criss-crossed the state since late April, also paying visits to alumni associations in other states. Marshall hosted a stop May 21, where athletic director Laird Veatch visited with alumni and Tiger fans. He tells KMMO Sports the Zou 2 You tour is a way to express appreciation for Mizzou’s fans across the entire state.
Veatch touts the Tigers’ recent accomplishments, but notes that more is in store for the Black and Gold.
Activity on campus for the Tigers this spring included construction of new seating along the north end zone of Faurot Field, and the hiring of Kellie Harper as the new women’s basketball coach. Tiger Radio Network personality Chris Gervino emceed the Zou 2 You stop in Marshall, which included a visit from women’s basketball player and Grain Valley native Grace Slaughter.
