Three finalists seeking to become the next Sedalia city administrator will make their pitch to residents and the city council Thursday, June 5.
The three candidates began the interview process Wednesday by taking a bus tour of several city facilities. Human Resources Director Shannon Ramey-Tull said the tour gave department heads a chance to showcase their strengths and top priorities.
Ramey-Tull explains how tonight’s forum will take place, beginning in the City Council chambers at 5:30 p.m.
Residents were asked to submit their questions in advance. Additional interviews are scheduled for Friday to wrap up the week.
Ramey-Tull says a total of 31 candidates submitted applications after a nationwide search. She anticipates an offer letter going to the winning candidate within 30 days.
