
Joshua Anthony Bartshe, 45, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation that will be used for Alayna’s education expenses, with checks made payable to Tori Clements. Josh was born on March 12, 1980, in Marshall, and was the son of Terry Franklin Bartshe and Donna England Brown, both who survive of Marshall. He was a 1998 graduate of Marshall High School and then attended Linn State Technical College in Linn. Josh worked as a hog finisher for Ham Hill Farms in rural Marshall and Pipestone, north of Slater.
In addition to his parents, Terry Bartshe and Donna Brown (Jerry); he is survived by two daughters, McKenzie Bartshe of Eldon and Alayna Bartshe of Marshall; two stepchildren, Kaylee Ross and Nicholas Arnold, both of Marshall; four grandchildren: Raylynn, Zaya, Atlas and Ares; four siblings: Tori Clements (Jake) of rural Miami, Corey Bartshe (Gracie) of Lexington, Blayne Bartshe (Abbie) of Bolivar and Brooklyn Bartshe (Jestin Fillmore) of Bolivar; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Evelyn England; and his paternal grandparents, Allen and Wanda Bartshe.
