Two Sedalia residents were moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident in Pettis County early Saturday morning.

The accident was reported at 1:55 a.m. on U.S. 65 at Wildwood Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Sedalia man left the roadway, struck and embankment, and overturned.

Both the driver and a 20-year-old female passenger, also from Sedalia, were injured in the crash and taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment.
