A Carrollton man was moderately injured in a motorcycle accident on Missouri 23 on Monday, June 9.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a motorcycle operated by a 74-year-old Carrollton man traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, partially ejecting the driver.

The driver was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

The accident was reported at 11:55 a.m. along southbound Missouri 23 at Goodwin Road in Lafayette County.
