The Sedalia City Council opened their meeting last Monday night by recognizing David Woolery for 30 years of service with the Sedalia Police Department, including the past two as chief.

Woolery received his service award during a brief presentation by his predecessor, interim city administrator Matthew Wirt.

Two Sedalia police officers also marked milestones this month. Corporal Davis Mittelhauser and Sergeant John Fellows II both recently completed ten years of service in the department.
