
The Missouri Department of Transportation’s ongoing pavement resurfacing projects in Cooper County continue this week, with crews resuming work on Route H.
Flaggers remain along the roadway where crews are applying the new surface, reducing traffic to one lane. The project also extends into Moniteau County, where similar projects are set to begin this week on Routes V and MM. Pavement repairs will also take place this week in Cooper County along Routes J and AA. Also in Cooper County, the bridge maintenance project for the Interstate 70 bridges over the Lamine River will have the right lane on each bridge closed when crews are working.
Culvert replacements are planned this week in Moniteau and Morgan counties. Route F south of California will be reduced to one lane beginning Tuesday, June 10 in areas where replacements are taking place. Route WW in Morgan County east of Zora will close Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., also for a culvert replacement. Also in Moniteau County, a project to build a roundabout at the intersection of Routes 87 and C near High Point.
Elsewhere, shoulder work is underway along Route T in Carroll County this week, while pothole patching will begin on Route 11 in Chariton County on Wednesday. In Boone County, guardrail work continues on Route E from Harrisburg to Columbia, with one lane remaining open and a pilot car directing motorists through the work zone.
