A four-year-old boy from Knob Noster suffered serious injuries after he was ejected from a four-wheeler along a Johnson County roadway Monday, June 9.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the four-year-old was a passenger on a four-wheeler that a nine-year-old was driving along NE 500 Road, just east of Route M and north of Knob Noster. The patrol reports that just before 8 p.m., the four-wheeler hit a pothole which threw the four-year-old from the vehicle. The four-year-old was taken to a Kansas City area hospital. Troopers say neither boy was wearing the proper safety equipment at the time of the incident.
