The Fayette Board of Aldermen discussed a number of ordinances at their meeting Tuesday, June 10, including the city’s ordinance dealing with aggressive dogs.
City administrator Deanna Nelson says the discussion on the ordinance followed an incident in the city.
Aldermen also reviewed documents from the city’s attorneys, Lauber Municipal Law, with the aim of updating an ordinance concerning the use of all-terrain vehicles and other smaller four-wheel vehicles.
The Fayette Board of Aldermen did approve a measure that would allow food trucks to have their current sanitary inspection on file with any county or city health department in Missouri, rather than require one from Howard County. Mayor Greg Stidham presented a proclamation recognizing next week’s Juneteenth celebrations in Fayette, and the board recognized John Miller with a certificate of appreciation for his assistance in helping the city with their audits.
