Saline County’s monthly test of their storm sirens for June has been delayed a second week.
Outgoing emergency manager Tony Day tells KMMO News that his office has delayed their monthly test to the afternoon of June 18. The test normally takes place on the first Wednesday of the month between 1:30 and 2 p.m.
The Saline County Emergency Management Agency handles the testing of the county’s sirens outside the city of Marshall. Next week’s test is weather permitting and will involve the sirens in Arrow Rock, Blackburn, Gilliam, Grand Pass, Malta Bend, Miami, Nelson, Slater and Sweet Springs.
