Norma R. Sanders, 61, of Slater, died Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at her home.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Mount Horeb Cemetery, with Andy Baker officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Cooper, Jeremiah Johnson, Justin Lopez, Austin Scott, Alex Copeland, and Aron Copeland. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:25 A.M. Saturday at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Memorials are suggested to Big Bend Retreat in care of the funeral home.

Born May 10, 1964 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Lela Fizer Scott. On August 14, 2015 in Arrow Rock, she married Donald G. Sanders, and he survives of the home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Stephanie Scott of Marshall Junction, and Whitney Fuller of Marshall; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda Cole and Roberta Jackson, both of Slater, and Virginia Hall of Houstonia. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Scott; and a sister, Elizabeth “Janie” Johnson.
Mrs. Sanders was a 1982 graduate of Slater High School and was an avid BINGO player. She was employed at Big Bend Retreat in Slater as a CNA, and later in the laundry department, for the past forty-three years.
