The Salisbury Board of Aldermen considered a change in the city ordinance to allow for smaller home sizes during its meeting Thursday night.
Salisbury Mayor Ronnie Stowers notes the amendment would help align the city’s housing standards with the needs of the community.
Stowers says the previous ordinance was “outdated” and that the change would allow the construction of tiny home structures.
In other news, the board approved the appointment of Gwen Stapleton to the Library Board.
