Charles E. Peeples, 77, of Nelson, died Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to Nelson Baptist Church and an online guestbook is available at https://www.campbell-lewis.com/.

Born October 31, 1947, in Coldwater, MO, he was the son of the late Earnest F. Peeples and Flora Haines Peeples.  On July 14, 1967, he married Donna Gerhardt who survives of the home.  Charlie lived in the Nelson area most of his life and worked in construction, service stations and then retired from Con-Agra where he worked for over 20 years.

In addition to his wife, Donna; he is survived by two children, Brenda Peeples of Nelson and Danny Peeples (Angela Merritt) of Blackwater; five grandchildren: Krystal Lane (Blake Lane), Summer Peeples (Jacob Davis), Austin Peeples, Zackery Peeples and Georgia Peeples; five great-grandchildren: Alexis, Logan, Chase, Eliza and Marren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Shirley Galloway; and three brothers: George “Bobby”, Roy Joe and Harry Peeples.
