Two Odessa residents suffered serious injuries after their motorcycle went off a Johnson County roadway Sunday, June 15.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the Yamaha was heading south on Route H just past Fayetteville, when at around 1:40 p.m., the bike entered a curve, but began to skid. The motorcycle went off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting both the 36-year-old driver and his 40-year-old passenger. The two suffered serious injuries and were taken to a Kansas City area hospital.
