A Chilhowee man suffered serious injury after he was struck by a vehicle outside Warrensburg on Sunday, June 15.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 27-year-old was walking along the northbound shoulder of Business Route 13 about a mile south of Warrensburg, when just after 6 p.m., a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old man from Clinton went off the roadway and hit the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital. No injuries were reported for the vehicle’s driver.
