Amid the past week’s missile strikes in the Middle East, heightened security measures are going into place at multiple military installations across the U.S., including Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster.

According to a statement from U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), employees and visitors to military installations should plan for increased security measures and longer wait times upon their arrival. Increased measures will remain in place for as long as necessary. USNORTHCOM adds that they are not aware of any specific threats to installations.
