The Pettis County R-5 School District Board of Education prepared for end of the current fiscal year with final budget amendments and the approval of the FY 2026 Budget during its meeting Wednesday, June 18.

Superintendent Amy Fagg says the board approved final amendments and fund transfers in preparation for the end of the 2025 fiscal year, which ends June 30.

The board then approved the FY 2026 Budget. Fagg notes the budget is “very similar” to the budget from the previous year, operating with $4,683,636 of total expenditures.

The Board of Education also voted to request bids for the district’s trash, fuel, and food service needs. Fagg says the board will review and accept these bids during its July meeting.
