A two-year-old from Sturgeon suffered moderate injury after she was struck by a vehicle Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the two-year-old was hit in a parking lot just outside the Moberly city limits by a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old woman from Audrain County. The two-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital. Troopers note that they responded to the accident on County Road 2275 around 7 p.m.
