The Glasgow School took a number of actions to prepare for the 2025-2026 school year during its meeting on Wednesday, June 25.

The board started by finalizing the 2024-2025 budget, then approving the 2025-2026 proposed budget. The proposed budget takes effect July 1.

The board approved breakfast and lunch prices for students and staff. Student breakfast was set at $2, student lunch at $2.65, adult breakfast at $2.25, and adult lunch at $4.05. Extra milk and juice cost 65 cents and extra vegetables, bread or dessert were set at 75 cents.

The district then approved the milk bid from Prairie Farms and the bread bid from Springfield Grocer.

The Board of Education voted to schedule its next meeting for Wednesday, August 13.
