The 2025-2026 cafeteria prices were approved by the Sweet Springs R-VII Board of Education during its meeting on Wednesday, June 25.

The proposed meal prices were approved as presented. The breakfast price for students was set at $1.60, with the breakfast price for adults set at $2.25. Lunch prices for K-6 were set at $2.70, 7-12 were set at $2.95, and adult prices at $3.25. Extra milk will cost 50 cents for the next school year.

The board also approved final payments and end of year transfers to close out the 2024-2025 budget before approving next year’s budget. The 2025-2026 budget takes effect July 1.

The Board of Education will not meet in July. Their next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 26. A Tax Rate Hearing will be held 15 minutes prior to the board meeting.
