William “Bill” Donnell, 70, of rural Marshall, died Friday, June 27, 2025, at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born February 6, 1955, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Harry Donnell and Tracy Rehkop Donnell.  Bill was raised on the family farm, north of Sweet Springs, and was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School.  On February 22, 1980, he married Kathy Frizzell, and though they later divorced, they remained friends until her death on January 31, 2022.  Bill worked in farming and construction most of his life and was currently employed with Thompson Quality Construction of Marshall.

Survivors include three children: Bobby Donnell, Taira Taber (Nick) and Rachel Donnell; four grandchildren: Bonnie Herrick, Aryan Donnell, Johnathon Herrick and Lydia Herrick; one brother, Bobby Donnell (Jen); sister-in-law, Erayna Stroup (Dale); several nieces and nephews; his good friend, Damien Thompson; as well as many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents and Kathy; he was preceded in death by his brother; Rick Donnell; a niece and a nephew.
