Summer may be in full swing, but the Santa Fe School R-X School District is still hard at work upgrading its facilities prior to the start of the next school year in the fall.
Paving work on the High School and Elementary parking lots began on June 27. Superintendent Derek Lark says the district is also working on projects on the main offices, entryway canopies, and the library media center.
Larks says this is the final series of projects from bonds issued in 2018.
The Santa Fe Board of Education next meets August 13. The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year is August 19.
