
The next step in finalizing property assessment values in Saline County will begin later this month when the Board of Equalization convenes.
According to a public notice released by county clerk Brittni Burton, the board will begin their hearings Monday, July 14 at 9 a.m., and will continue their hearings through Friday, July 25, in the County Commission chambers at the Saline County Courthouse in Marshall. Any property owner who disagrees with the assessment of their property may appeal to the board by filing a form with the clerk’s office. The form is available on the Saline County Clerk’s website, or by contacting the office at 660-886-3331. All appeals must be lodged no later than Wednesday, July 9.
